Working with over 50 Ndebele beaders from the Syabusa district in South Africa, this project allows the women to work from home enabling them to care for their own children and preserve the traditional Ndebele lifestyle. By doing so the bead workers are able to pass down their skills and aesthetic style to their daughters ensuring the continuance of Ndebele artistry so vital to traditional African culture.
